Personally as a Dervish I like them all. They are all needed to keep balance, and I like balance. Although I do not worship any of them I respect their morals.

Being a ranger I back Melandru all the way. Her monuments are amazing and so is the dervish avatar! (great for gvg I might add)

ide just like to point out that balth also sells boosts for cash :P
he has at least one shrine that will give the boosts that I came across the other day while mapping for title, in Southwestern most corner of "The Falls" southwest of ventaris.

My god would be Melandru. Being attuned with nature, living off the land and respecting its balance and the beauty of life is central to my chars.

Can I just ask, which are the gods of the new professions, like Dervishers, Paragons, etc. ? Nooby question I know, but I never figured it out.

Dervishes are all 5 (there's a bit of all of them in their skill repertoire and it's difficult to pin Dervishes under any less than the full pantheon), and Paragons are Balthazar (spear and command) and Dwayna (leadership and motivation).

I wouldn't say "worship" but out of utter and complete respect for Melandru.

Enjoying the beauty of everything as it is and then some try and destroy it, Melandru puts a stop to that and shows them what they are doing is only hurting themselves. You can't hurt the other without hurting yourself.

If I were in the Guild Wars world I would probably devote myself to Melandru. It's a war torn world, somebody needs to actively seek its restoration.

Of course, the pantheon of gods in the Guild Wars world actually help their followers with divine interventions on a semi-regular basis compared to actual religions, so any good little denizen of the Guild Wars world would seek to appease the entire pantheon regardless of where they allocate their personal devotion.
